Tuesdays 5.45-6.45pm Children's Class -

Children are taught seperately from adults as we like to ensure their training incorporates some fun activities.  Children work on techniques, learn to spar and to perform kata (set forms) as part of their grading requirements.  In addition much time is spent on fitness, flexibility, balance and co-ordination.  The children also enjoy hitting and kicking pads to increase power and focus.

Some of the Tuesday students

Generally training once a week will suit beginners - but those keen to get their next belt will often want to train additionally at the instructor's other clubs in Thurrock and Basildon to get more time to practice their skills.  Students are made welcome at all classes where they quickly make new friends.  Ask your child's instructor for details of additional classes.

Children are encouraged to progress at their own rate with gradings taking place at Eversley Leisure Centre, Pitsea 3 times a year.

The dojo is a friendly class where emphasis is put on good manners and respect for other students.

New starters are welcomed throughout the year with the first 2 lessons free.

Class instructors are Sensei Albie O'Connor and Sensei Jill O'Connor (01375) 640609

Special thanks in 2008 goes to the Rotary Club of Stanford & Corringham who very generously sponsored new kick shields and sparring focus pads.
