Welcome to the Sessen Ryu Karate home page.  We welcome beginners and returning students throughout the year at all our locations.  (If you are a returning Sessen Ryu student you can wear a white belt for a few weeks until you get back into the swing of things...then return to your old belt)

First 2 trial sessions are free.  Most of our classes are pay as and when you train...so no monthly debit.  Check out our locations page to see details of training venues and times.

We have been teaching karate (and kobudo) in the Basildon and Thurrock area for over 40 years.....Our classes allow children and adults to learn karate in a friendly, structured way so they can enjoy karate as a lifelong pursuit.
